At approx 1450L Yokota experienced a 5.0 earthquake!
Several commercial aircraft have diverted to Yokota Air Base from Narita International Airport, after it closed in response to an earthquake that hit mainland Japan.
There have been NO injuries to Yokota personnel as a result of the earthquake.
