Edo Museum

We went to the Edo-Tokyo Museum this week!

The Edo-Tokyo Museum (江戸東京博物館) was established in 1993. Which shows the history of Tokyo. The main features of the permanent exhibitions are the life-size replica of the Nihonbashi, which was the bridge leading into Edo; the Nakamuraza theater; scale models of town; and buildings from the Edo.

The museum is located in Ryōgoku. About a hour and a half train ride away!

Merry Christmas

Christmas Morning!

Last night I made this French Toast Souffle. This morning I baked it!! I made some changes but it was so GOOD!! It is a new tradition we are going start!! I added 1 tsp. Cinnamon and I used half white bread and the other half Cinnamon Swirl bread!!After- what a Mess! :) Going outside to try out the new toys!At the skate park! Coby even had to try! After dinner the girls were playing on their computers!We had such a great Christmas!! I hope you guys had a great Christmas also!!

Christmas Eve

Today we made Christmas Candy!!

And a Gingerbread Tree! (Emme is so cute peeking)

Then we got to open 2 presents!!
Thank you Grandpa & Grandma for the cute clothes!!

Then they opened these Glow Stations which are so cool for night time fun!

Of course Daddy read "The Night before Christmas" by Clement Clarke Moore, it has such beautiful pictures!!

And I read Holly Clause The Christmas Princess! A great book for little girls!
Last the girls set out some cookies and some candy that they made just for Santa!

Now the girls are in bed and Coby and I have to wrap the last few presents!! :)

Christmas Card

Getting Christmas Cards is one of my favorite things about the season! All the cards get hung up on a bulletin broad so we can see them.

But this year I have only received 6!! I sent out at least 25 cards!!

What does no one like to send Christmas cards anymore?

Today was Lizzie last day of school for the Christmas Break!! She had to bring in her favorite cookies! She looked so cute I had to show everyone!!
