Japanese Grocery Store

We went to the grocery store off base and got a few things to try and some things that we like to eat. Coby forgot the camera and some of the weird things we saw were live squids, clams, snails and oysters. Here is what we got.

Here are some deserts that we like to eat one is Ice Cream in a pouch and the other is on a cone.
These are Coby’s favorite Japanese Ice Creams they are called Mushy Pounding balls. Which is rice that has been mashed with ice cream in the middle.
Here is a typical lunch Coby likes to eat. It is a bowl of noodle, chips and precooked rice.
Sesame Salad Dressing.
Eggs don’t know what kind. But they look pretty:)
Drinks.
We really enjoy grocery shopping off base but we don't do it very often because it can be VERY expensive!

Coby is glad to be working and running this shop! He really is enjoying the move! He has 7 people working for him now! When he was at our last base he had over 30 people working for him in Honor Guard so 7 is really easy!:) He doing a fantastic job.

Disney Sea

This is Disney Sea! They have lots of rides! We went on mostly all of them! The only one Lizzie wasn't able to ride was Journey to the Center of the Earth! This is what you see when you walk though the gate! This giant global with water going over it!

Ok here is Tokyo Disney!! This is what you see when you come though the gate! It was there 25th Anniversary!

Main Street Disney is covered here because it rains so much but not the two days we were there!! :)

I have so many pictures! I hope you can tell we had a GREAT time!! It's very similar to Disneyland in California! It's funny to hear "It's a Small World" in Japanese! :) We also saw the parades, the girls really liked seeing all their favorite characters. Tomorrow will be all about Disney Sea!

Toyko Disneyland Hotel

We have so many pictures I thought I would show different section everyday! So first up is the hotel we stayed at!! It just opened in August of 2008. It was amazing!!

This hotel was so beautiful!! The girls loved finding Mickey in the decorations (floors & carpet)! It was very nice to walk right outside and be in front of the gate for Disney! Tomorrow will be all about Disneyland!
